Dumi is based in Johannesburg, South Africa with a behavioural science and social development background, coaching in some of the leading businesses within SA and across the African continent. Dumi is a regular guest on several radio stations, including SAFM Radio’s Afternoon Talk programme on Careers Coaching. He is also a regular speaker on the local speaking and conference circuit, including Leaderex.
He works with the Pan African Capacity Building Programme (PACBP) at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) designing and delivering leadership skills and personal effectiveness workshops. Dumi lectures in his spare time and supervises Masters and Doctoral students in South Africa and has published a children’s book on Ubuntu and is in the final stages of writing a selfcoaching book on Ubuntu Intelligence (2018).
Dumi is passionate about re-humanising the modern workplace using Coaching, Ubuntu principles, and building dynamic high-performance organisational cultures that help unleash individual and collective excellence, and enable the development of transformational leadership skills in businesses. He is committed to Africa’s development and is currently working with the African Union Foundation (AUF) towards the achievement of the AU Vision and Agenda 2063.
